Welcome to the nonprofit PRS4 website. We are a volunteer group dedicated to the preservation and protection of designated rural neighborhoods in Nevada. This page is devoted to ensuring the integrity of character in rural neighborhoods. Our goal is to maintain our rural preservation areas as purely residential and focus on a peaceful, sparse community of homes as rural land use designations allow. The site is continually updated to reference the most recent action items to strike down the plans that continually arise, attempting to diminish the character of these areas with incompatible developments.
ABOUT US
What began as a small group of homeowners attempting to defeat a proposed commercial project in the 1 mile by 1 mile stretch of land in Section 4 of Henderson has grown into a collective of homeowners in rural communities across Southern Nevada. Our mission is to connect with local and statewide legislators and work together to ensure proposed projects that could negatively impact our neighborhoods are changed to meet our neighborhood character. Join our team of volunteers. Donate to support our efforts through legal fees, expert witness testimony, and data reports to continue to show why our communities are special.
In the past volunteers have served as watchdogs to ensure projects are opposed in great numbers well before they pass. Traffic studies have helped prove how commercial and public properties may create congestion. Expert witnesses have been brought to help city councils understand the import for our livestock to have access to wilderness lands.
Completion of the form below will be used internally to notify you of active meetings to rally support during the appropriate meetings.
Thank you for your time, attention, and energy focused on keeping our neighborhoods purely residential and zoned RS1.
